Boston City Marathon – Monday 19th April 2010
We are proud to be able to offer places in this historic marathon, which dates back to 1897. This is not a Marathon for the faint hearted as there are strict qualifying standards according to age group and sex varying from 3hrs 10 if you’re a man under 34 to a gracious 5 hours 30 if you’re a lady over 80!
As this is a very special marathon we are asking that our runners pledge to raise a minimum of £1500 and pay an entry fee of £30 to reflect the challenge of having to complete it in a very fast time. We will require proof that you have run another marathon in the appropriate qualifying time.
Are you up to the challenge? The Boston Marathon is part of the World Marathon Majors – Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago and New York. Why not run all five? Does your company have offices in the other cities? Get a company team together or run all five yourself for the ultimate challenge.
We'd be delighted to have you join our ORCHID team and will make sure you have all the support and help you need. We recommend you secure your place early as numbers are limited.
