LEPRA Health in Action is a medical development charity fighting diseases of poverty. By taking part in a challenge you are helping to ensure that access to life-saving health and rehabilitative care is available long-term, to many people living in the developing world.

  • TB is the leading cause of death for people infected with HIV and AIDS. Approximately 2 million die annually.
  • Malaria is estimated to kill around 1.5 million people every year equating to one child every 30 seconds.
  • HIV has infected approximately 40 million people globally. Statistics from Andhra Pradesh, India suggest that half a million people are infected in that state alone.
  • Leprosy, although widely thought of as a biblical disease, still affects more than 400,000 people every year.

Help us to change lives and participate in one of the many events LEPRA has to offer. Not only can we offer renewed health we can also avoid the heartbreak of rejection that so often accompanies these devastating diseases.

Please help and participate in one of the many events LEPRA has to offer. Thank you
