The Sport for Good Foundation – why run for us?

We would like to invite you to run the 2013 Virgin London Marathon and raise money for a great cause – the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. Inspired by our Patron Nelson Mandela, we believe that sport has the power to change the world. We are focused on our mission: to bring hope where there is despair, to bring reconciliation where there is conflict; and to bring a brighter future for countless young people around the world.

The London Marathon is undoubtedly one of, if not the, greatest marathons in the world. This is your opportunity to run along the celebrated course, past renowned landmarks, such as Canary Wharf, the Tower of London and Big Ben.
