H·E·A·R·T UK – The Cholesterol Charity – is passionate about preventing premature deaths caused by raised cholesterol and cardiovascular disease, especially inherited high cholesterol (IHC), which affects about one person in every 100 and can cause early cardiovascular disease, and shorten lives. IHC can kill fit young people, suddenly and without warning, in their 30s and 40s – and even in their 20s.
