Dreams Come True is a national children’s charity. Our mission is to bring joy to terminally and seriously ill children by fulfilling their treasured dreams.
Children have that special quality of being able to find and give joy, whatever their personal circumstances. They also have an imagination full of dreams and aspirations. Making that Dream Come True for a terminally or seriously ill child not only brightens lives, but is also a gift of a memory that parents and family will treasure forever. That’s what we do, every day.
We help children and young people aged from 2 to 21 realise their dreams, making sure that each child has an unforgettable experience and that the parents and families can share their joy. We believe that each dream, like each child is unique and precious.
One of our Dream children recently visited Manchester United Football Club. He had such an amazing experience, his Mum wrote to us and said;
"I just want to say thanks to Dreams Come True for organising thisday, it is a memory he will treasure forever and something we can share. I just can't thank you enough, you will never know how special this day was for us. I just hope everyone involved knows the difference they make to the children's lives and also to the family to have such happy memories when they have been through so many hard and emotional times."
Quite simply, money from running events currently funds a third of these precious dreams. Every year our Dream Team runners take part in races at home and abroad, raising valuable funds to support our work.
