Virgin London Marathon 21st April 2013

Take your place in the biggest annual fundraising event in the world while savouring the atmosphere of the iconic sights of London along the route.

Our first ever team ran in 2008 and we are extremely proud of each and every one of them. Join DEMAND’s team in 2013 and help us to help even more people with disabilities.

Firstly, apply for a place in the Virgin London Marathon’s ballot, you should hear whether or not you’ve been successful by the end of October. Please fill in the information request form to register your interest in running for DEMAND. Please state clearly if you have a place of your own already, or have applied in the ballot, and/or are applying for one of ours.

We have a limited number of Guaranteed Places which are subject to a minimum fundraising pledge of £2000.

We do not allocate our Guaranteed Places on a first come first served basis and will contact you again once the results of the ballot are out. As some of you will get your own places in the ballot, this eases the demand on our limited number of guaranteed places and gives everyone a fair chance to apply for one.

We look after our runners by providing:

• a full support pack with information about DEMAND and advice on fundraising
• a Pasta Party the night before so you can meet other runners and their supporters as well as carb-load for the big day
• a race day base
• free running vests and tee-shirts
• all the free advice you're likely to need to make your day a success.
