Why not run the Great North Run to support a great Manchester Hospital? The Great North run is the worlds’ biggest half marathon with around 50,000 runners taking part. Run for Christie’s and make a real difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
The Christie Hospital is one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe, looking after more than 40,000 patients every year. Donations help us to provide more effective treatments for our patients so that their chances of surviving cancer are greatly increased.
We are asking all runners to enter into the official ballot first in order that we can have the biggest Christie team possible pounding the streets of Tyneside. We will have a number of guaranteed places available so if you do not manage to secure a place do get in touch. We will ask you to pledge to raise a minimum of £400 if you take one of our charity places.
All our runners will get lots of personal support and encouragement and will be sent a fundraising pack and a free Christie t-shirt.
If you have secured your own place or want to be considered for one of our guaranteed places REGISTER NOW and we will be in touch soon.
