Champion Charity entries are now open!

Join the Berry Street team and help raise funds to support Victorian children recovering from abuse, trauma, violence and neglect.

Did you know that 1 in 37 children are in need of child protection services at any one time?^ This means the demands for our services continues to grow. Over the last five years, we have helped 100,000 children and family members feel safe.

You can help give children like Daniel* a safe, loving home. Neglected and assaulted by his parents since birth, Daniel now has a bright future thanks to his dedicated foster carer and Berry Street’s highly skilled workers.

This year we’re aiming to raise $75,000 for children like Daniel, but we need your help!

You don’t have to be a professional runner to join the Berry Street team. Run Melbourne is an all abilities event, with a distance to suit any fitness level - you can walk or run 5km, 10km, or challenge yourself with a half marathon.

If you can commit to raising $1,000 for Berry Street, we want you to join our team and become a Champion Charity entrant – apply now!

All Champion Charity entrants receive:

  • Free Run Melbourne 2018 registration
  • A place in the exclusive Champion Charity starting point ahead of the pack
  • Fundraising medal and photo pack
  • Access to expert advice and support from Team Berry Street to help you reach your fundraising goals
  • A Berry Street running singlet
  • The opportunity to run proudly as a member of the Berry Street team, helping vulnerable and disadvantaged Victorian children.
