adidas Silverstone Half Marathon

Brought to you by the organisers of the London Marathon, this half marathon offers everyone a great opportunity to take part in a mass participation event at a great location.

Since its first race in 1948 Silverstone has become one of the world's most famous motor sport venues as well as being the home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. But this run's not just for motor racing enthusiasts. Silverstone offers a unique venue with many years experience of running first class events with great facilities.

In 2011 over 7,500 runners crossed the grid, including stars of the TV and sports worlds, in near ideal conditions of glorious winter sunshine with music and commentary helping everyone to reach their 13.1 miles.

Whether you're attempting your first half marathon or are a veteran at this distance, it's a great event to be part of.
