Edinburgh Marathon

The Edinburgh Marathon is more than just a race: it's a festival of fun with en route entertainment and finish line celebrations.

The spectacularly scenic route takes you past many of Edinburgh's famous landmarks and tourist attractions. The 26.2 mile route starts and ends in Holyrood Park, home of the Holyrood Palace, at the foot of Arthur's Seat - a craggy glacier and remnant of the city's volcanic past.

To join the Asthma UK team you need to pay a registration fee of £58.75 (non-refundable) and raise £500 in sponsorship.

We understand the effort involved in running a marathon and raising sponsorship - that's why we support you every step of the way. Our marathon team is on hand to offer support and advice on every aspect of taking part, from training and fundraising ideas to how to avoid blisters. Once you have signed up you will receive regular newsletters and updates including fundraising and training advice.
