About Team Amnesty

Amnesty International is a movement of ordinary people from around the world standing up for humanity and human rights.

And we're a movement that produces extraordinary results. Prisoners of conscience are released. Death sentences are commuted. Torturers are brought to justice. Governments are persuaded to change their laws and practices. Our achievements have a huge impact on the lives of individual people.

You can help us make a difference by joining Team Amnesty today. Run in support of an individual at risk to highlight Amnesty’s work. The money you raise will go towards funding our research and campaigns to help stop human rights abuses.

If you like, you can run in support of an individual at risk to highlight Amnesty’s work. We have been asking Team Amnesty participants to take action for is Masood Janjua and Faisal Faraz who were 'disappeared' on 30 July 2005 while travelling on a bus in northern Pakistan. They are believed to be victims of enforced disappearance - just two among hundreds of people held in secret detention by the Pakistani authorities in recent years.
