Action for Children... there for as long as it takes
Imagine you’re running the London Marathon. How long would it take you to finish? Would you run for two and a half hours and then give up? Three hours? Six hours? Or would you run for as long as it takes to get past that finish line?
Running is all about determination. Sometimes, it doesn’t matter how long something takes – if you’re determined enough, you’ll achieve it in the end.
Action for Children supports and speaks out for the children and young people in the UK who most need it. We do everything in our power to help every child have an equal chance to achieve their full potential. We understand that for many children, there will be no quick fix, but we are determined to keep working to achieve this… for as long as it takes.
Action for Children is a charity that has been working with the UK’s most vulnerable children for 140 years. We were originally called the National Children’s Home, or NCH, until we recently changed our name to one that better describes what we do and what we value – Action for Children.
