Run for Refuge and help women and children to rebuild their lives free from the fear of dometsic violence
The whole experience was brilliant. Being part of the Refuge team was a real privilege and I was made to feel welcomed and appreciated… Thank you so much for helping to make the day so memorable
Mark Wilson (Refuge runner in the 2009 London Marathon)
One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime, so although we may not know it, it’s likely that we all know someone who has been, or will be, affected. Refuge makes an immeasurable difference to the victims of domestic violence, providing high quality services including safe emergency accommodation, individual and group counselling, and community based outreach services.
We have places in events including 5k, 10k, half marathons and full marathons, and we would love to welcome you onto our team!
All Refuge runners receive:
- Refuge t-shirt or running vest
- Full training plan
- Sponsorship pack and fundraising advice
- One-to-one support every step of the way
