Why Whizz-Kidz?
Independence is a major part of growing up. From the first time you pop down the road to post a letter, to your first attempt to cook a meal, to your first journey to school on your own. Children want to be independent, do things for themselves and take control. And disabled children are no different.
Whizz-Kidz provides customised mobility equipment and training for disabled children, facilitating their independence and giving them the same opportunities as other children. Over 70,000 disabled children in the UK could benefit from this help.
The right wheelchair and support means a disabled child can go out and play with friends, go to mainstream schools and fully participate in family life.

How to sign up:
To join Team Whizz-Kidz, one of the biggest and brightest London Marathon teams, we need you to pledge to raise at least £1600 for Whizz-Kidz, and pay a (refundable) deposit of £100 to secure your place. If you are happy with this commitment, register your interest below or email events@whizz-kidz.org.uk and we'll send you an application form. You need to fill this in with lots of good fundraising ideas and then we will call you back to talk you through the next steps.
If you get a ballot place we's still love to have you on the team. You'll receive the exact same first-class Whizz-Kidz support. Email events@whizz-kidz.org.uk or call the Events Hotline on 020 7233 9696 to get signed up.
