To be able to grant a magical wish to every single child in the UK who is diagnosed with a serious or terminal illness, giving them and their family happy memories to share, whatever the future holds.

To lift the spirits of all sick children in every hospital and hospice. With Starlight’s entertainment programmes, including Starlight Parties and Fun Centres, children can laugh and smile and forget how much their tummy hurts or how afraid they feel.

• How we support you.

Before

• We send a pack full of fundraising ideas and inspiration, along with a training plan, for all fitness levels, by Mike Gratton, previous London Marathon Winner.
• If you wish, you can choose which Starlight project to support. You will be able to see the difference you are making.
• Training day with Mike Gratton.
• We are on hand to help you with both marathon and fundraising queries.

During

• You’ll be able to hear us before you see us! We have three cheering points.

After

• For you and your cheering team, we throw a post race party which includes a massage to relieve tired muscles.
• We will be able to tell you how your blood, sweat and tears have transformed the life of a seriously ill child.
