Help us reach out to the children we support. We will support you throughout the race by sending you updates, supporting you from the sidelines on the day and giving you a post event update on the impact of your hard work!
For those who are unsuccessful in the ballot, we would love for you to run for us. We are asking runners taking one of our places to raise £2,500 to help us change the lives of children for the better.
We will support you as much as possible:
- Give you ideas and tips to get you fit including a training plan
- Support with your fundraising
- Sponsor forms and Virgin Money Giving/Justgiving information to enable you to set up an online sponsorship page

How Starfish makes a difference
Starfish supports children that have been affected by the devastating impact of AIDS in South Africa.
We provide:
- Nutritional support
- Day care and pre-school for infants and young children
- Psychosocial care for traumatised children
- Educational resources such as books and school uniforms and homework support
- Safe and caring environments in which children can play and socialise
- Government grant facilitation for child headed households and foster care families
- Training for Caregivers
We believe in making real and lasting differences to children's lives, one child at a time. Your fundraising can help us feed 70 children for an entire year or send 50 children back to school with uniforms, shoes, books and stationary.
