International Medical Corps are one of the most effective emergency relief organisations in the world. For every £1 we receive, 92p goes directly to our programmes in the field.

We are committed to making a long-term difference to the health of the world’s most vulnerable people through training local healthcare workers and working with local healthcare systems – even in the midst of difficult post-disaster and conflict environments.

We also place special emphasis on women and children’s health and mental health – a much overlooked need in humanitarian crises.

We are currently saving lives and training local healthcare workers in 23 countries around the world, including:
Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, Darfur, Somalia
