Being Silent isn't being strong

In 2008 suicide overtook road death as the biggest killer of men aged 15-34 in England & Wales (ONS Provisional stats 2008).

What We Do

The campaign against living miserably challenges the stigma preventing young men from asking for help when they need it.  We offer a helpline and website created and marketed to meet the needs of our audience.  Our professional Advisors offer anonymous, confidential, and free (from landlines) advice, support and information to all callers, regardless of gender or age.

We use music, comedy and entertainment to reach our audience with the message that “being silent isn’t being strong”, and recently worked to produce Dizzee Rascal’s Dean video highlighting male suicide.

"I’d like to say thanks to your team as I had to call them tonight as a precaution to myself. I am glad you are here to help people like me trying to make life easier for themselves, without making it harder for others"
